Up for consideration is an exceedingly rare COMPLETE set of Howard Eckels 9 volume pocket embalming series. The series contains: "Sudden Death Cases" "Some So-Called'Difficult' Cases" "Post-Mortem Stains and Putty Color" "Elements of Embalming " "Gaseous Disinfection" "Disinfection for the Communicable Diseases" parts 1, 2 and 3 "Dictionary of Medical Terms" The first four volumes have a fold-out Arterial System chart glued inside the front cover. Volumes 5-8 have a fold-out chart of communicable diseases and their causes.
All of the charts are in excellent condition with no rips, stains or tears. The volumes are in very good to fair condition. I have photographed any significant flaws. The text block has separated in Volume 8. This is an amazing collection of a very scarce set of books by Eckels, one of the founding fathers if modern embalming. From a smoke-free and dog-friendly home.
