If I Ran the Circus. New York: Random House, 1956. Condition: Pictorial hardback covers show quite a bit of wear to the edges and corners. The spine is missing, but the boards are still tightly attached and the binding is tight. There is some soiling and rubbing to the covers.

The pages are clean and free from tears or marks any kind. There is a former owner's gift inscription on the half-title page dated December 25, 1956 to a girl from her grandma. While not on the recent list of six retired titles, the recent attention and focus on Dr. Seuss and his books has increased awareness and demand of his other vintage titles as well. This is one of his classics and is scarce to find it first edition hardback.
