Mo Letters (301-400) Leather-bound Bible Children of God Moses David Berg RARE! - The Children of God were a radical Christian cult group led by a man named David Berg who emerged from the California Jesus People movement and then moved throughout the world establishing colonies based on a message of Christian salvation, apocalypticism and revolution. In the early 1970s they gained fame because of Berg's amalgam of evangelism and sexuality, the doctrine of "flirty fishing, " whereby members would seduce potential converts who were then lured to join the group. Berg released a number of missives to the group on a regular basis during those formative years, which were then collected and published in Bible-like form as The Mo Letters.
