First edition of The Book Fancier; or the Romance of Book Collecting by Percy Fitzgerald in the original publisher's cloth binding. Prior owner's ink inscription to the first pastedown from 1892. Newspaper clipping of a column on'books about books' attached to the first free endpaper.In the original publisher's cloth binding. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There are some slight light marks to the boards and spine.
The front hinge is starting but firm. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy.
Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones. Often expected given the age of the book, but still a respectable copy. Some more serious faults as will.
