"The Princess of Let's Pretend" is a children's novel written by Dorothy Donnell Calhoun and published in 1916 by E. Located at 681 Fifth Ave. The story revolves around the main character, a young girl named Barbara, who is struggling with the challenges of growing up. To cope with these challenges, Barbara creates an imaginary world called "Let's Pretend, " where she becomes a princess and is able to solve all of her problems.

However, as Barbara begins to face more significant challenges in the real world, she starts to question the reliability of her imaginary world. This novel has been praised for its ability to engage young readers and for its powerful message about the importance of facing up to the challenges of life with courage and determination. Overall, "The Princess of Let's Pretend" is a timeless tale that has captured the hearts of generations of young readers with its compelling story and memorable characters. The book contains many early black and white photographs done by Kinemacolor Company of America, The Universal Film Manufacturing Company, the Lubin Manufacturing Company, and Thomas A. Book Title: Princess of Let's Pretend.

Printing: Not mentioned, most likely a first edition. Physical size: 7.5 x 5.25. Condition: Acceptable condition for approximately 1 inch of gnaw damage inside of front cover that is not readily observable.

Otherwise the book is in very nice shape. Here that resembles the condition of this publication the closest.

The book has obvious wear. It may have some damage to the cover, but its integrity is intact. The binding may be slightly damaged, but its integrity is still intact. There may be possible writing in the margins and underlining and highlighting of text, but there are no missing pages or anything that would compromise the legibility or understanding of the text.

This book is a time capsule from a previous era, with some examples in my collection going back over 120 years old. The conditions of media of this age can include fading, yellowing, cracking spines, odor, missing pages, loose or missing covers, and much more. Each book I do a brief check of it's overall condition, but I cannot promise that something such as missing pages, or clipped photos could escape my glance. Thanks for checking out this old time classic! I will be listing hundreds of vintage books, magazines, catalogs, and media in the coming weeks and months.

Keep a look out for additional listings, and thanks for supporting this cancer survivor and small business!
