First edition, later issue printed on pages bulking roughly 7/8, with The Shoulder of Shasta a. T rear blank verso followed by eight additional pages of publisher's ads. About Very Good, with grubby cloth, darkened spine, light fraying at spine ends, and a half-inch tear at the crown. Internally clean and bright except for very few small light stains. Front and rear inner hinges slightly exposed, end sheets foxed. Edge wear to preliminary pages, small tear to gutter of final two leafs of adverts at rear. A nice, unsophisticated copy of the iconic horror novel. We specialize in rare and out-of-print books!
