Octavo, full-bound paper with title to spine. First Edition, Book Club Printing of Frank Herbert's classic and one of the greatest works of Science Fiction ever penned.

Presenting in its original Dust Jacket. Dune was awarded the first Nebula award for best science fiction novel, shared the Hugo award, and "became one of the most famous of all science fiction novels" (The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction). Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Muad'Dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family--and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream. A stunning blend of adventure and mysticism, environmentalism and politics and formed the basis of what is undoubtedly the grandest epic in science fiction.

Full-bound paper panels present clean and unmarked. A couple very faint creases to head and foot of spine, but no other remarkable wear externally. Dust Jacket presents very well. Front panel and spine bright with only toning to rear and a couple very small stains. Moderate chipping to corners and head and foot of spine with a tiny amount of loss.
