English translation of Tanquerel des Planches's exhaustive study of 1,200 cases of industrial lead poisoning. Much later, investigators found little more to add to our knowledge of the signs and symptoms of the disease. Still very valuable today because of the abundance and exactness of its clinical observations (Teleky, History of Factory and Mine Hygiene). Spine lightly sunned, minor wear to cover edges and corners.
