These are the original gilded cloth bindings. This set is in very good condition for the age. Low acid paper is not brittle.

This set can be read. This is one of my best sets. Some light generalized shelf wear. This set is extremely photogenic. It has extremity abrasion that is difficult to show in the pictures.

I took close up pictures to help show this extremity abrasion. Volume one had no writing. I didn't check every volume.

These display well on a bookcase. Set is over 100 years old.
