DESCRIPTION: Easton Presss beautifully done LIMITED edition of this classic, complete with silk endsheets, full leather binding, smyth-sewn, etc. This edition features 160 vintage illustrations by Hugh Thomson and the legendary "Peacock" edition cover and designs.

It is in one of its most desirable illustrated formats--the 1894 rare large paper limited edition featuring a wealth of Hugh Thomson illustrations. This leather-bound edition has all 160 Hugh Thomson illustrations, as well as the "Peacock" cover and spine designs from the 1894 trade edition.

Pride and Prejudice is set in rural England in the early 19th century, and it follows the Bennet family, which includes five very different sisters. Bennet is anxious to see all her daughters married, especially as the modest family estate is to be inherited by William Collins when Mr. CONDITION: BOOK and SLIPCASE are in FANTASTIC condition for their age with only a couple of negligible rubs to the gilt endpages of the book and some rubs to the slipcase (SEE PICS). NO ATTACHED BOOKPLATES, WRITING FROM PREVIOUS OWNER, ETC. It is truly a SPECTACULAR EDITION.
