Very RARE First Edition Quatrains of Omar Kheyyam of Nishapour. Handwritten - copy #11 of only 75 copies printed. Printed for the Villon Society by private subscription and for private circulation only. London - Large Book measures 7 1/2" x 11 1/2". According to the newspaper article of that time, The only complete translation of the quatrains into English was made by John Payne and was published by the Villon Society of London in 1898 in one volume. Book is in tact, no loose pages and is considered in very good condition for its age.

There is a watermark on the front of the book. This is an amazing book! I wonder how many of the 75 books like this one published are still around! Pictures are part of the description. If you need more pictures, please let me know!
