The bindings are cloth not leather. The bindings are original and are over 100 years old.

This set has a lot of wear. Some of the spines dont fully match the others in color and condition which may be bothersome.

Set is only in good condition for the age. It is difficult to show in the pictures. It still looks like since old rustic antiquarian set and looks good on the shelf. The hardcover Reading Guide was not added to the set until 1937. Set is complete in 51.
