Scarce first edition of Rupert The Little Lost Bear by Mary Tourtel. It seems to have been sympathetically rebound with new cloth on the spine and new front and end papers but retaining the original boards. The front and back boards are bumped, shelf worn, soiled and finger marked with some creasing on the front. Internally there's some foxing on the title page and finger marking/staining and some light creasing throughout. The page edges are rubbed, soiled and lightly foxed. Page 25/26 has a small 3mm tear on the bottom edge. There's some pencil marking on page 42 as shown in photo.
