A few: Pass of Standing Rock, Pyramid Lake, Pike's Peak, Wind River Mountains, Great Salt Lake, Outlet of Subterranean River, and more. Included is a BOTANY Catalogue of Plants Collected by Lieutenant Fremont by JOHN TORREY. Included Fossil Ferns, Fossil Shells, "Fremontia vermicularis", Fresh Water Infusoria, and more.
Fremont had some of the most famous scouts, one of whom was Christopher "Kit" Carson. The is a very nice copy of the House of Representatives Fremont Report, FIRST EDITION 1845. Has marbleized paper covered boards, newer maroon calf covered spine extending two inches around front and back. Despite the expected foxing, the 583 pages are clean, intact, no folds, or tears. Repair tape securing spine inside both covers.
