First Edition Progress At Pelvis Bay Osbert Lancaster With Publisher Belly Band. The book is is okay condition considering its age. It still has the original publishers belly band but it has suffered from staining and foxing particularly around the edges. The foxing has spread onto a few pages but on the whole the text and illustrations are unaffected.

This first edition copy comes with its original publishers belly band which displays reviews from the Sunday Times and the Observer. The story follows the tragedy and comedy that occurs in a sea side town as it progresses from fishing village to holiday resort accompanied by illustrations. This item was kindly donated to raise funds for the Vision Foundation, London's leading sight loss charity supporting the city's best projects for blind and partially sighted people.
