Lord Byron First Edition 1821 Plays Two Foscari, Cain & Sardanapalus. Lord Byron is one of the most famous English poets finding fame from his poetry as well as his extravagant and colourful lifestyle. He was a friend and contemporary of the poets and writers Mary and Percy Bysshe Shelley. This is a first edition of the three plays: Sardanapalus - A Tragedy, The Two Foscari - A Tragedy and Cain a Mystery.

Sardanapalus The Two Foscari and Cain by Lord Byron Published in 1821 by John Murray. Hardback full light brown leather binding with gilding to cover and spine. The book contains 439 printed pages. The front cover has become detached and there is wear to the spine.

There is foxing mainly to the to the end and title pages. The binding and text block is in very good condition. The book is wrapped in removable cellophane to protect the covers.
