SCARCE First Edition marbled hardcover calf leather bound "The Sporting Review" Vol. 1-2, published 1853 by Rogerson & Tuxford 246 Strand By Command Under the Especial Patronage of H. Both contain 12 steel engraving plates. Spine features gilt stamped lettering and pictorials. Volumes have coat of arms belonging to Ireland's Henry McCarrick of Kilglass.

Both volumes shows wear consistent with age, rubbing to leather, and spotting. Additionally, the first five pages of Volume 1 has become separated from the spine.
