Yeats The Tower First Edition First Reprint March 1928. The Tower was the first important collection of poems published by W. Yeats after receiving the Nobel prize for literature in 1923. The very distinct cover design on the dust jacket and cover depicts a stylised representation of the Tower reflected in water by Thomas Sturge Moore.

The poems included in the book are. Meditations in Time of Civil War. A Prayer for My Son. Two Songs from a Play. On a Picture of a Black Centaur.

The Fool by the Roadside. Owen Aherne and His Dancers.

A Man Young and Old. The Gift of Harun Al-Rashid. Yeats UK First Edition First Reprint, published in March 1928 (one month after the first edition which was issued in February 1928), by Macmillan and Co. Hardback green cloth with gilt design of the Tower by Thomas Sturge Moore to cover, 110 printed pages, 2 pages of adverts, blue unclipped dust jacket.

The book is in good original condition. The dust jacket has been torn and repaired and is missing a section from the top of the spine.
